Why PBX vendors love installing PBX equipment

For years PBX phone system installers and key telephone system installers have been an integral part in small, medium, and large business operations. The businesses rely on the PBX system vendor for any and all changes, updates, and fixes that will pop up unexpectedly over time. There is not one business I have come in contact with that is familiar with PBX programming and language. The PBX and key telephone systems of the world are so foreign and unfriendly to deal with, that it is impossible for a business to ever even think about making any kind of a change to the system.

In the increasingly fast paced world of change and technology, more business organizations are in control of their technology. Desktop PCs and easy to use software make it possible for businesses to make changes on demand to please customers, suppliers, and partners. I bring up this notion of self dependence because this notion is exactly what the traditional PBX or key telephone system vendor fears.

The entire PBX and key phone system sales industry is driven by service calls. A business invests in a particular phone system and becomes highly dependent on the vendor for any changes. The relationship can be ugly when the vendor doesn't respond quickly enough, but manages to invoice very quickly. Many companies sign service contracts which add large fixed monthly costs to their already crazy telecommunications budgets. The PBX vendor lives off of this dependence. They sell equipment, so they can sell service over and over again while you pay for even the tiniest of changes. This makes no sense!

What I'm really saying is that this catch 22 system is over for the small and medium business market. With a new VoIP hosted PBX phone system from Xpander you can enjoy on demand and unlimited changes and updates to your system without a service call! Please visit with us to learn about the revolutionary system that makes PBX vendors fear for their lives.
