Hosted PBX phone systems with no limitations

If you're a small business looking at a fully hosted PBX phone system, which is a phone system that is housed in a secure facility as opposed to a closet in your office, then you better watch out. Many hosted PBX and VoIP phone systems are but mere toys, a playskool brand when compared to the real deal. Many VoIP providers are rushing to the market to make a quick buck off of small business organizations who are unfamiliar with VoIP technology and what it's supposed to accomplish. Certainly the VoIP market, as new as it is, is fully in a "buyer beware" phase.

Hosted PBX providers boast about how this is the new way of doing things, and how wonderful it is to have your phone system managed for you off-site. What they don't talk about is the important stuff. How easy is it to transfer calls? How easy is it for a receptionist to juggle multiple calls at once? Do you have a fully shared line appearance on each phone where you can clearly see line 1, line 2, line 3, line 4, etc. and the little blinking light that tells you if a line is in user or not? Do you have busy lamp fields next to each extension in your office so the receptionist can glance down at the phone and say, hey Bob is on the phone would you like to hold or go to voicemail? These may seem like basic features to a small business, but these are also features that many VoIP services struggle to deliver.

So while your VoIP salesmen boasts about how great the technology is, ask him to use a phone. Check the phone system out in REAL LIFE. Sure a web portal that lets you check your voicemail is pretty, but if your VoIP phones are missing shared line appearance and busy lamp fields, it's going to be a mess fielding calls in your office. Lucky for you, we here at Xpander keep an eye on all of these issues, and we are looking out for you. Our IP Xtreme phone system gives you all of the advanced VoIP features you could ever want, while at the same time giving you a telephone that only requires the touch of a button to grab a line, or transfer a call. You are not forced into using the web portal by our service because our phones in and of themselves do it all. Sure it's nice to have the web portal for when you're out and about, but when you're at your desk, lets face it, we all want a dumb phone that is easy to use!
