The problem with small business phone systems

The small business phone system market has been totally underserved for years. Small businesses have had to deal with proprietary phone systems with limited feature sets. The small businesses have come to expect less and less out of their phone systems, and it's gotten to the point where these businesses aren't placing enough emphasis into making sure their PBX phone system is one that will add value. This is not the small business' fault, this is the fault of the big PBX brand names such as Avaya, Lucent, and Toshiba who manufacture phone systems that come from another planet when it comes to what a small business needs.

A small business needs something simple and user friendly. Small businesses don't have departments of people dedicated to telecommunications. Often the owner of the small business is the receptionist, sales person, support person, and billing person all in one! That's why dealing with phone system maintenance and carrier support is a big pain in the butt for the small business owner. The last thing a small business owner needs to worry about is that the phone systems aren't working properly and calls are being effected!

Despite this problem, nothing has changed. The big PBX brand names continue to manufacture products that are alien to anyone who hasn't completed a certified training course in administration of the phone system. This means the end user is handcuffed from doing ANYTHING to the system without paying for a service call from an experienced tech. This wastes time and money, and is one of the biggest problems with small business phone systems.

Luckily, we have spotted all of these issues and eliminated the problems one by one. Every small business can now move ahead of the curve and free themselves from any PBX or phone system headaches.
